Patriarchal Theology has made a great game of silencing the feminine and calling those of us who challenge it Heretics.
As a result, the theology of our grandmothers: Practices connecting us to the earth, our bodies, and mystical power as feminine beings has been suppressed.
“Right” is dictated by gurus, celebrity teachers, and institutions. Painting your inner wisdom and intuition as evil and untrustworthy.
When you choose to follow the call of your soul it means you are leaving behind those broken ways of knowing the Divine. And sadly, often leaving behind the communities you have known for years, and wandering solo.
But you don’t have to be alone! The Heretical Society exists for spiritual feminine souls who are following the call of the Divine.
There are no rules, there is no “right.” Just you, the Divine, and a community of fellow Heretics cheering you on!

Something magical happens when women come together, break open their hearts, and share their wisdom. Every month @ 1 PM EST, we gather together via Zoom to share our stories, perspective, and insight and learn from each other.
Delivered to your inbox each month as a community, we focus on a spiritual practice you can integrate into your current spiritual practice. Ranging from meditations, journal prompts, tools to connect to the earth and your body to simple but soul-filling exercises.
It’s one thing to read and comment on one another’s posts on Facebook. It is a whole other thing to send voice messages, images, and texts to one another when we have questions, requests, or spiritual discoveries to share. Using the app Voxer, you can stay connected 24/7 to fellow Holy Heretics.
Each month delivered in your inbox, you will receive up to 4 unique resources covering topics ranging from the Divine Feminine, Spiritual Development, Feminist Theology, and more. This list is curated with resources that will serve your spiritual journey and address the questions you are digging into right now!
Using the monthly resources as a guide, we meet each month to go deep into the readings in a small private group and together know ourselves on a more sacred level, mind, body, and soul.
As a member of the Heretical Priestess Circle, you will get 30-minute coaching credit ($300 value) sent to you every four months of your membership. Coaching calls are an opportunity to get exclusive attention from Lurie to address your most complicated questions and messy answers.
As a Heretical Priestess Circle member, you will receive an email preparing you for your Tarot reading each month. After going through any specific questions and issues coming forward that month, Lurie will pull cards and send you a video explaining the cards and how they inform your situation.
Hi I’m Lurie! A Good Christian Woman turned Esoteric and Erotic Mystical Witch. My work is all about helping you on your spiritual journey of deconstruction and reconstruction by tapping into your inner knowing so that you can find the Divine outside of oppressive ideals on your terms.
Perhaps you are like me, and your deconstruction started with a tug on your soul. I had a deep yearning to know what it means to connect with the Divine as the holy mother, sister, healer, and wisdom. Yet, in my small religious bubble, that wasn’t allowed. So I followed that tug outside of what I knew and on a wild adventure. It introduced me to ancient women traditions, brought me to goddess temples, and scouring through the pages of ancient texts. In the end, I found myself with two master’s degrees focused on feminist theology and religious narratives and ready to share everything I discovered with you.
Leaving behind the religion I knew was terrifying, but discovering the Divine outside of oppressive theology was liberating! I’m honored to be your guide as you navigate the messy questions so you can embrace liberating spirituality!
